A roastery, restaurant and event venue in the Roatán highlands
Spirit Origin is on the main road at First Bight, Roatán, Honduras, at one of the island's highest points, with views over the north and south shores. It is home to the From the Roots restaurant, the Coffee Omakase (a coffee tasting paired with food), Bean to Bar tastings, a working roastery, and events from weddings to holiday dinners.
It was founded by Kathya Irias, who grew up on a coffee farm in Danlí, El Paraíso. Its coffees won the Cup of Excellence Honduras in 2025 and 2026. The company is locally and women-owned, and keeps 92% of coffee revenue in Honduras, where the coffee is grown.
